Make a Difference
At iCare Home Health, one of our core values is to “Make a Difference” in everything we do. Our team is passionate about investing in activities that allow us to make a positive difference in our communities and the lives of others.
Alzheimer Awareness:
Over 747,000 Canadians across Canada are living with Alzheimer disease or other dementia. That number is expected to grow to 1.4 million with a generation.
iCare Home Health Coffee Break:
In Support of Make a Difference value, we are proud to support the Alzheimer Society annual Coffee Break campaign.
When: Sunday September 14, 2014 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm or while coffee lasts.
Where: Oakville Town Square, iCare Home Health events’ tent.
Fundraising: 100% of the coffee proceeds are for the benefit of the Alzheimer Society.

Breaking: iCare Navigator – A new suite of healthcare system Navigation & Client Advocacy services!
Healthcare Advocacy and Navigation Service provides support and education to patients and their family members about the ins and outs of the healthcare system. If patients and their family members have questions or concerns about care or available programs, this service knows how the system works and can help manage the contact and work together with the health care providers to mediate conflict and attempt to resolve concerns.
Support clients by navigating the healthcare system to explore options. Advocate to resolve concerns about treatment, policy or procedure. Educate clients and their family members on specific healthcare laws and regulations which can affect access to services.
