How else can iCare Home Health clients use technology advances to their benefit?  Let’s take a look at some of the biggest changes to the health care field:

  • Improved Data: Wearable, bio-sensors and Bluetooth connected devices provide real time information on patient recovery and reaction to treatment and medications.
  • Improved Patient Care: Patient Centred circle of care connect all professionals and caregivers overseeing the recovery of an individual for better communication and improved results tracking of an individual’s health. For example, results of blood work and tests are now recorded and filed electronically which results in fewer errors. As a bi-product, it also creates a database of records that helps researchers compile information that can better study trends and causes of conditions and illnesses.
  • Improved Resources: Technology advancements have given us new equipment, tools, medicines and treatment options that improve the chance of recovery.
  • Improved Access: Not only are doctors easier to reach but patients can be empowered by reading about treatment options, studies and information on their own medical conditions. Patients can even access their own test results online instead of having to wait to see their medical professional.
